Step-4: Obtaining an Authorised Officer ABN-DSC

To obtain your ABN-DSC digital certificates:

  • You will need to download the ABN-DSCs to your computer, smartcard or token. You can only download the certificate on the same computer as you used for the original ABN-DSC enrolment.
  • Download the [Gatekeeper Root and Auxilliary Certificates]
  • We will send you two emails, for your Signing and Encryption Certificates with instructions.
  • Download the Signing Certificate (Instructions sent in first email)
  • Download the Encryption Certificate (Instructions sent in second email)
  • Upon completing the above downloads, you will need to back-up your certificates, unless they are installed on a smartcard or token.

When you have successfully downloaded your certificates, to use SPEAR you will need to download CSI and also register with SPEAR. Click here to do so.

Next Step:

VeriSign confirms Digital Certificates have been successfully downloaded and then will advise on Account Management procedures via email. Once you have received this email you can organise standard certificates for any other signing user in the organisation. Proceed to Step-5.
