Non-Individual (Type 2) Certificate

Non-Individual digital certificates are for organisations wanting to engage in online transactions with Government Agencies or other organisations that accept Gatekeeper digital certificates. They identify an individual as a representative of an organisation.

Each applicant for a non-individual certificate must complete a personal and organisation identification check, during which, the applicant provides personal and organisation Evidence of Identity (EOI).

What grades of Non-Individual certificate can I purchase?
There are three grades of non-individual certificates. The grade of certificate is an indication of the level of trust that may be attributed to a certificate. The higher the grade of certificate the greater the level of trust in the certificate. A higher grade of certificate therefore requires the applicant to provide more EOI documentation.
