Stage 2 - Enrol for ABN-DSC Certificates

Step 1: Enrol online for your Authorised Officer Digital Certificate

In this step you will enrol for your Authorised Officer digital certificate. When you enrol you will enter information about you and your organisation including your name, residential address and email address. At the end of the enrolment process you will print out an application form to take to Australia Post for an identification check (Stage 2-Step 2).

Before you enrol read the following information carefully:

  • Check that you meet the requirements for the Identification check.
    Please review our Identification Requirements FAQs for further information.
  • Check your ID documents to ensure you enter the correct information when enrolling.
  • Ensure you are connected to a printer. After filling in the online enrolment forms you are required to print out some documents, which you will need to complete your enrolment.
  • Ensure you have installed the Security Token software and your Security Token is connected to the computer before you begin the enrolment.
  • You must download your Digital Certificate within 30 days of issuance. If you experience any problems when installing your certificate VeriSign will replace your certificate free-of-charge during this period. After 30 days, normal charges will apply.
