VeriSign Gatekeeper: Electronic Conveyancing


Stage 1 - Set Up ABN-DSC Account


Step 2: Complete Application and Post to VeriSign


You are now required to complete ALL the following:

  1. Download and print the ABN Account Checklist.
  2. Download, print and complete the Verisign Subscriber Agreement.
    • You must nominate at least one Authorised Officer on the Agreement. The Authorised Officer is responsible for managing your organisation's ABN-DSC certificates.
    • The Agreement MUST be signed by a Director or Company Secretary.
  3. Get an original 'company identity' document certified by a third party who is eligible to sign . See Acceptable Documents and Statutory Declaration Signatory List.
  4. If you are paying by cheque or purchase order prepare it now.
  5. Complete Checklist.
  6. Send ALL completed documents to VeriSign by post.

VeriSign will process your application within 5 business days providing you have supplied the full set of documentation as detailed in the Checklist.

Upon successful completion of the above, VeriSign activates your ABN-DSC Account and notifies your company via email. Once you receive the email proceed to Stage 2 - Step 1 Enrol for Authorised Officer ABN-DSC.

NOTE: Please keep a copy of the completed Subscriber Agreement. You will need it to complete Stage 2 - Enrol for Authorised Officer ABN-DSC.


Before proceeding to Stage 2, you need to complete: Stage 1 - Step 3 Purchase Security Token.
